Amesbury DC Fast Charging Infrastructure
BD completed the electrical and site infrastructure for a commercial DC fast-charging location with multiple charging stations.
The Challenge
High-power charging required dedicated distribution, large feeders, and substantial underground raceways. The work needed coordination among the utility, charger equipment, civil construction, and the existing parking area.
BD’s Scope of Work
- Trenching, excavation, and underground conduits
- Utility service and transformer coordination
- Switchgear, feeders, and distribution equipment
- Equipment pads, charger connections, and bollards
- Site restoration, startup, and commissioning
The Result
The completed site provides multiple DC fast-charging stations supported by permanent utility and electrical infrastructure. BD’s scope extended from underground rough-in through equipment connections and energization.
