St. Mark’s School Solar Installation
Solect Energy selected BD to complete the solar installation on a new campus building at St. Mark’s School.
The Challenge
Steep standing-seam roof sections, aerial-lift access, and an accelerated construction schedule required careful planning. Protecting the new roofing and coordinating with other trades were essential throughout installation.
BD’s Scope of Work
- PV attachments, racking, and module installation
- DC conductors, raceways, and grounding
- Electrical equipment and terminations
- Testing and commissioning
- Lift access and multi-trade construction coordination
The Result
The finished array integrates into the architecture of the new building. Consistent module alignment and coordinated electrical pathways connect renewable generation with the school’s newly constructed facility.
